26 I Welcome to Thaksin University Students must achieve at least CEFR Level B1 and submit valid test results (not older than 2 years) to the Language Center before graduation. Accepted test results include TSU-TEP and other recognized English proficiency tests (subject to case-by-case approval). Students must take the EnglishScore test, Core Skills, free of charge up to 4 times in the first academic year and/or TSU-TEP free of charge up to 3 times during their study period. Students may attend one free preparatory course for the TSU-TEP through the TSU MOOC for ALL system. Alternative Pathways Students who score below B1 (A1 or A2 levels) may fulfill the requirement through approved alternatives such as: 1) Intensive English training courses (45 hours per course) 2) Enrolling in specified English elective courses (3–6 credits depending on level) 3) Completing approved English skill development courses 4) Participating in English competency development activities Minimum achievement for courses/training: at least 60% or grade C or higher, depending on the chosen option. Certification and Transcript Students who meet the requirement will receive an official English proficiency certificate indicating CEFR level (A1–C2). The transcript will record: S (Satisfactory) – Passed U (Unsatisfactory) – Not passed
